If you purchase a jar of Leather Mate that has on the label 'New' Leather Mate, you will find that it is not the same product that it was.

For years URAD was repackaged in the United States under the label Leather Mate. The distributors in the United States have recently put in a new formula and labelled it "New Leather Mate". It is not the same at URAD or the original LeatherMate.

The original URAD comes from Italy and has been the same formula since the mid 1960s. It has proven over time to be one of the best products for leather. It is all natural, biodegradable and non toxic. If you have used LeatherMate in the past and would like to get the original product it is now sold under its original name, URAD, in the United States. It is available on this website.
