History of URAD

URAD was invented in Italy in 1966 by Alessandro and Rchardo Daru. It was first introduced as an all in one leather cream for leather furniture. It was perfect for high end leather products on display in showrooms. In 1973 it was introduced at flea markets in Europe being demostrated on shoes. From 1978 to 1982 the Daru brothers received 5 awards of excellence and quality for the URAD leather cream in Europe!

By 1983 URAD was being distributed in half of Europe including Great Britain. Alessandro then moved his family to Monteal Canada to market URAD in North America.

URAD and Tenderly are now sold all over North America. In flea markets, trade shows, tack shops and was for years being demonstated in department stores. And can easily be found online.
